Architecture¶
ARIANE is built on a client-server architecture. A client, which runs with an instrument control software, sends requests to a server on the basis of a communication protocol that needs to be defined for each application.
Run ariane-setup-check
to see a list of all available applications.
The main task of ARIANE is to provide application-specific functionalities through suitable server instances.
Each server instance creates a .log
file under logs/
for logging its events.
